Viele Menschen aus der Ukraine suchten neues Land zum Bebauen und Leben und entschieden sich für das Gebiet Orenburg. Unter anderem wurde auch das Dorf Kanzerovka gegründet, in dem viele Menschen eine neue Heimat fanden.

Zuerst wurden „Buden“ und „Semljankie“ (Erdhütten) gebaut, danach auch stabile Häuser.

Ein Antrag auf eine Schule wurde gestellt und schon im Jahr 1899 konnte die Schule mit Sandstein errichtet werden. Die Schule hatte zwei Klassenräume und zwei Wohnungen für die Lehrer.

Im Sommer 1923 gründeten drei Prediger eine Bibelschule, die 3 Jahre lang sehr gut besucht wurde und dann aufgrund des großen Widerstands von Seiten der Regierung geschlossen werden musste.

Im Rahmen der neuen Gesetze, wurden alle Bauern gezwungen „freiwillig“ einer Kolchose beizutreten. Dafür wurde das Privateigentum der Bauern in Form von Vieh, Landtechnik und Landbesitz der Kolchose zugeführt was dann offiziell Gemeinschaftseigentum war.

Mit Hilfe von Elektrikern aus Orenburg wurden im Dorf Stromleitungen verlegt, an die jedes Haus angeschlossen wurde. Einer der ersten Vorteile von Strom, war für die Menschen das elektrische Licht.
